DON PAPA 

DON PAPA rum began production in 2012, inspired by the charismatic leader Papa Isio, who led the revolutionary struggles for independence at the end of the 19th century. This long-aged rum reflects the spirit of Negros Occidental in the Philippines, an area popularly known as SUGARLANDIA. 

The Philippine archipelago is an island nation in Southeast Asia located in the western Pacific Ocean. The Philippines, which consists of 7,107 islands, is rich in natural resources and some of the world's largest biodiversity hotspots. The main variety of sugar cane grown on the island of Negros is the caña morada, or purple reed. It is smaller and thinner than most varieties of sugar cane, but has high sucrose purity and low fiber, and has high quality, especially suitable for rum production.
