SALASAR Crémant de Limoux comes from the southern region of France, where sparkling wine was first produced in the 16th century, long before Champagne.
SALASAR maintains this centuries-old tradition by using the classic method of allowing bubbles to form naturally in the bottle during a long maturation period.
The SALASAR winery’s 60 hectares of vineyards, located within the Blanquette and Crémant de Limoux appellations, have a great climatic advantage, as they are located in the mountains, 300-500 m above sea level, right at the foot of the Pyrenees.
The vines on the slopes give the wines an originality dominated by fruit flavors.
