The enchanting Château d’Esclans wine estate is located in the heart of Provence, northeast of Saint-Tropez, overlooking the Esclans Valley with the Mediterranean coastline visible in the distance. When Sacha Lichine acquired the estate in 2006, his vision was to create the world’s finest rosé wines and spark a true Rosé Renaissance.
A key pillar of the project was the highly experienced winemaker Patrick Léon, whose international background brought new and innovative winemaking techniques to Provence. These methods transformed the entire region’s approach to rosé, resulting in a portfolio of top-tier wines, including Whispering Angel, Rock Angel, Château d’Esclans, and Garrus – a new generation of rosés defined by elegance, depth, richness, and complexity.
