The term OPI is a nickname for Mascota’s highly respected winemaker, Rudolfo ‘Opi” Sandler. With over 30 years of experience, "Opi" is renowned for getting the most of out his grapes and as such, is ranked as one of Argentina’s top 10 winemakers in the country. The fruit for this 100% Chardonnay wine were all hand harvested and underwent partial malo-lactic fermentation, allowing for a creamy texture. The result is a light and refreshing wine with well integrated notes of soft peach, floral, yellow apple, pear, slight pineapple and a little salinity. The medium-short finish displays flavours of spice, cedar and a touch of butter.
