Talisker single malt whisky was matured refill American & European Oak barrels. It‘s maturation was finished in combination of White, Tawny and Ruby Port casks.
Introduced by swee and fruity top notes in the aroma, the flavour profile of Talisker whisky still emphasises the classic characteristics: saltiness, smokiness, and spiciness. Talisker whisky aroma opens with dried grapes, dates and dried fruits. Soon aroma becomes more maritime, with hints of clean sea air and sea salt. Peat smoke, mineral notes of chalk makes the aroma smokier.
Talisker single malt powerful taste is lightly sweet with hints of rich fruit. This soon becomes very salty with intense hints of peppers, smoke and chilli pepper.
Talisker single malt label was inspired by detailed realism and a nostalgic retro elements featuring a vintage twist that transports viewers to another era.
