Château Minuty
Château Minuty is the vineyard of the Presqu'île de Saint-Tropez, which honours the southern grape varieties.
Surrounded by 65 hectares of vines growing on limestone soil, 120 hectares of clay and limestone soil in Vidauban and 15 hectares of Val de Rian.
Vineyards are directly affected by the sea climate, the wind from the sea dries the vines after dew or rain and limits the risk of disease.
The vines around the Château Minuty are designed for Grenache grapes, which benefit from deep, stoneless soil. Plots of the south-west direction, illuminated by the sun, are intended for red wines (Syrah and Mourvèdre). The stonier limestone slopes are very favorable for expressing minerality, so they are planted with Rolle grapes. Plots of the south-west direction, illuminated by the sun, are intended for red wines (Syrah and Mourvèdre).
The excellent Rosé wines of Château Minuty are made from the Grenache grape, the "queen of rosé wines", and the Tibouren grapes, symbolizing the Peninsula of Saint-Tropez and have been preserved to ensure the character and tradition of the local wines.
