Each bottle of Cesari Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG is indeed evocative of all the work that, in both vineyard and cellar, is required to arrive at its robust elegance, flavour complexity and textural intensity. But it is also a tribute to the history of an estate and family long committed to the art of Amarone. A blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Negrara hailing from the heart of the Valpolicella Classico area. The grapes are dried in Cesari’s own fruttaio for three months. Once fermented, the wine is aged in Slavonian oak for one year. It is is further aged for 24 months in stainless steel prior to bottling and release.

Red dry wine from Italy, veneto region. This is a wine made from raisins, since the grapes after harvesting are naturally dried for 5 months. In this way, the amount of liquid in the berries is reduced. The wine is made from the Corvina, Rondinella and Negrara grape varieties and ripens for 3 years in oak barrels and 6 months in a bottle.
Intense ruby colors, the aromas of tresses, black plum jam and vanilla and dark chocolate are felt. When tasting, the sweetness of the cherries, the bitterness of the grapefruit, light tannins, the rich texture, the long aftertaste of plums and dark chocolate are felt. Suitable with red meat dishes, sparrows, forest mushrooms, hard cheeses and chocolate-based desserts.
