The Unanime wine is a blend of three different grape varietals, each of which brings its own unique characteristics to the wine. Cabernet Sauvignon is known for its bold tannins and flavors of black fruit, while Malbec is a softer grape with notes of plum and chocolate. Cabernet Franc adds a spicy complexity to the blend, rounding out the flavors and adding depth. When all is said and done it’s aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, which helps to add flavors of vanilla, toast, and spice to the wine. The oak also helps to soften the tannins and create a smooth, velvety texture.
